Jet Tec shall not be liable to the buyer if any damage or abnormal wear to a printer that is claimed to have been caused by use of a Jet Tec product, could have been caused by goods not supplied by Jet Tec used in the printer before or after the use of a Jet Tec product.
Jet Tec reserve the right to collect and inspect and if necessary repair the printer. If it is found that damage has occurred as a direct result of a Jet Tec cartridge then Jet Tec will repair the printer or replace the printer with a working equivalent, and return the printer within 20 working days of receipt of the defective device. Jet Tec’s liability for the buyer shall not exceed the amount required to repair or replace the printer if found damaged by a Jet Tec product.
This guarantee shall cease to take effect if the Jet Tec products are damaged, either wilfully or negligently, dismantled or otherwise tampered with or misused by, for or on behalf or the buyer or any third party.
The Guarantee shall cease to take effect if the Jet Tec products have been purchased from market or Internet traders that are not recognised as official Jet Tec suppliers by Jet Tec International. The markets could include, weekend markets / computer fairs / car boots sales etc.

Printer Life Span.

All inkjet printers have a finite life span. A printhead may fail due to it reaching the end of its working life. In this specific case it is not the Jet Tec product that has damaged the printhead.
Although we cannot determine the true age and level of use of a printer, Jet Tec will use their discretion to determine whether the printer has reached the end of its life.
This is best determined by looking back to the date the printer became obsolete according to the printer manufacturer. If we determine the printer had indeed reached end of its life we accept no responsibility and will not be liable to repair or replace the printer.

Laser Toner

All Jet Tec re-manufactured laser toners are fully guaranteed against any defects and are produced to match the OEM product in performance, print quality and page yield. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a Jet Tec re-manufactured laser toner then please return the product to the dealer with proof of purchase. If for any reason the situation arises whereby it is claimed that a Jet Tec re-manufactured laser toner has damaged a printer, the following shall apply:
Jet Tec guarantees that, in normal use its products will not cause damage or abnormal wear when used in printers in which they are designed to operate. Jet Tec shall not be liable if any damage or abnormal wear to a printer could have been caused by goods not supplied by Jet Tec used in the printer before or after the use of a Jet Tec re-manufactured laser toner.
Jet Tec reserve the right to collect, inspect and if necessary repair the printer. If it is found that damage has occurred as a direct result of using a Jet Tec laser toner then Jet Tec will repair or replace the printer. Jet Tec may alternatively choose to send an engineer to the customer to inspect and if necessary, service and repair the printer. Jet Tec’s liability for the buyer shall not exceed the amount required to repair or replace the printer if found damaged by a Jet Tec product. If an identical printer model is unavailable an equivalent printer model will be supplied in the circumstance that the printer is to be replaced.
This guarantee is valid for a period of 36 months and shall cease to take effect if the Jet Tec products are damaged, either wilfully or negligently, dismantled or otherwise tampered with or misused by, for or on behalf or the buyer or any third party.
The guarantee shall cease to take effect if the Jet Tec products have been purchased from market or Internet traders that are not recognised as official Jet Tec suppliers by Jet Tec International.
Laser Toner cartridges are guaranteed for 3 years, Ink cartridges are guaranteed for 2 years.

Top Ten Tips To Make Your Ink Cartridges Last Longer - UK Ink Supplies

When you buy a printer, the initial price paid represents only a portion of the cost. You must consider both the price you pay for the printer itself as well as the expense of buying ink cartridges when the printer's ink runs out. If you run a business that needs a lot of printing or if you print a lot of photos, you may need to frequently replace your ink cartridges. These extra costs can quickly build up, but fortunately, there are ways you can save money by making your printer cartridges last a little longer.

1. Print only what you need
Before you start printing text or graphics, decide its relevance and usefulness so that you don't needlessly spend time printing things that may not be of much use. Print Preview is a useful function that shows you how the document will look after it has been printed. It can help you adjust spaces and decide which pages to print. 3. Print text over graphics

4. Print in Draft mode as often as possible
Use draft print quality whenever you can. Go to File – Print to open the box that lists the settings for your printer. Click ‘Properties' to bring up the various options available. You'll probably find different choices under the heading ‘Paper/Quality' that allow you to select draft quality printing. Your document will print at a lower resolution but that may not matter for reference material that you will likely discard later. You can always switch to a higher resolution for a final version of a document.

5. Print text in black ink only
Print documents that are in black and white with a black ink cartridge. Choose black and white printing over colour whenever possible. Depending on your printer, you may have the option to select grey-scale printing using the black ink cartridge only. If you print black with a colour ink cartridge, various colours are mixed to create the black ink. This depletes your colour ink cartridge a lot faster than it would deplete a black ink cartridge. If you're not doing presentation quality work, or if you're printing text only, chances are you won't need the other colours.

6. Use colour ink only when needed
If you want your refilled ink to run longer, then make use of colour printing only when it is required. Otherwise, for general and regular use, it is wiser to use black and white printing that helps in saving your money on buying additional refills.

Modern personal printers can produce high quality photographs, particularly if you use speciality photo paper. But printing high quality digital shots can use a lot of ink, so if you print a large number of photos you might want to outsource your photo printing to a local print centre. Many services allow you to order your prints online. You can also have your photos printed on calendars, mouse pads or greeting cards if you wish.

7. Keep your printer nozzles clean
Perhaps the easiest change you can make to your printing habits is to keep an eye on your printer heads. The printer ink nozzles that dispense the actual ink use a spray function to get the ink onto the paper. As such, these nozzles can experience a build-up of dried ink and become clogged. Clean the nozzle heads every few weeks or more often if you're a heavy printer.

If a colour cartridge isn't printing all the colours, remove the cartridge and wipe the bottom of it where the ink comes out firmly with a damp paper towel or lint-free cloth to unclog the nozzle. This will help the ink flow more freely from the cartridge.

8. Use all the ink in the cartridge
Continue to print even when your printer light comes on or you get a warning saying that your ink is low. Check the ink level in the cartridge and if it appears that there is some ink left, keep using it instead of changing the cartridge immediately. There is likely quite a bit of ink left in the cartridge; remember that the ink comes out in a spray so it doesn't take much per page. Use it all and then shake the ink cartridge to break up any ink clogs (especially in humid climates). You may get hundreds of extra pages out of a cartridge by doing this. Keep printing until the ink is almost completely gone (but be careful that you don't run the printer with an empty cartridge). 9. Select "Printer-Friendly" Pages when printing from the Web
You would be surprised how much ink is wasted by printing pages directly as they appear from a website. Opt for the printer-friendly option if you need to print something from the web. This eliminates all the unnecessary images, and will save your ink cartridges as well as your printing paper.

10. Use the printer regularly
If you don't print very often, you can stretch the life of your inkjet cartridges by keeping the printer moving. Print a page or two at least once a week using both your colour and black ink cartridges. You can print something small (even a printer diagnostic test) to prevent the ink from drying up.

Another ink-saving tip is to power down your printer the right way after each use. Don't merely switch it off or unplug it, but allow your printer to power down slowly and shut itself down. The print heads need to be in the right position while the printer is turned off to prevent the ink from drying up prematurely. The printer should also be covered when not in use.

How to Change Your Inkjet Cartridges - UK Ink Supplies

Inkjet printers on the market today have on-screen alerts that let you know when the ink levels of the cartridge are running low. However, if you have an older inkjet printer, you might not receive any warning! If you attempt to print and it appears streaky or notice the page is blank, more than likely your inkjet cartridge is out of ink.

One very important thing to remember when replacing an inkjet cartridge is do not remove the old cartridge until you are ready to insert the new cartridge.

1. Never remove your old ink cartridge until you are ready to insert the new inkjet cartridge.
2. Turn on your printer and raise the lid or press the cartridge changing button - most printers will provide you with access to the inkjet cartridge.
3. Wait for the printer cartridge carrier to slide out.
4. Put your finger behind the ridge on the top front of the old cartridge and pull it towards you to remove. If you have an Epson printer, lift the cartridge holder lid, and the cartridge will pop up for removal.
5. Carefully remove the tape from the ink opening on the bottom of new cartridge, or with Jet Tec cartridges, remove the red clip by "snapping" it off.
6. Insert the new cartridge into the cartridge carrier. Make sure the new cartridge is oriented the same way that the old cartridge had been.
7. Feel and hear the cartridge click into position. On some models, arrows will indicate the cartridge is correctly positioned.
8. If you have an Epson printer, close the cartridge holder lid and press the cleaning button to charge the cartridge.
9. Close your printer cover

The History of Dell

The History of Canon

Canon is a Japanese multinational corporation that specialises in the manufacture of imaging and optical products, including cameras, photocopiers, steppers and computer printers.
